Race Schedule:

Note – we will have porta-potties at the starting line this year!

Fitness Walk

9:00 am

Open Women (ages 12 & up)

9:20 am

Kid's Mile (ages 6-11)

(Depending on number of runners, we may split the boys and girls and start the girls 5 minutes after the boys)

9:40 am

Open Men (ages 12 & up) – first heat, 6:00 and up

10:00 am

Open Men (ages 12 & up) – second heat, sub-6:00

10:20 am

Ages 5 & Under “Tot Trot”: 100 yard dash

(Depending on number of runners, we may split the boys and girls and start the girls soon after the boys finish)

Prize Money: Equal for men and women.

Open – 1^st: $300; 2^nd: $200; 3^rd: $100;

Masters (40+) – 1^st: $75

(No duplication of prize money)

Awards: Ceremony will take place in front of the courthouse at the conclusion of the last race. Age group awards (see below for divisions). Ribbons to all walkers and children. Numerous random awards from area merchants will be given out.

Registration & Packet pickup:

Sign up early or on race day at Runners’ Retreat, 135 N. Loudoun St. (north of the finish line). You can register during normal store business hours beginning May 16^th OR from 7:00 – 8:15 am on race morning. Choose either a Tank top or Tee Shirt (while supplies last). Entry Fees (SVR members can take $1 off, except on race day):

Runners

$15 through 5/29; $20 on race day.

Walkers

$10 through 5/29; $15 on race day.

Kids Mile

$15 through 5/29; $20 on race day.

Tot Trot

$10 (no increase on race day)

Family

$50 through 5/29; not available on race day. (four of more immediate family members)
