23nd Annual LOUDOUN STREET MILE

When: May 31th, 2010 (Memorial Day 2010)

Where: The Old Town Mall in Winchester, VA.  

Divisions & Heat Times: (Schedule subject to change.)  

8:30 am Fitness Walk
9:00 am   Open Women (ages 15 & up)
9:20 am Kid's Mile (ages 6-14)
9:40 am Open Men (ages 15 & up) -- first heat, 6:00 and up
10:00 am Open Men (ages 15 & up) -- second heat, sub-6:00

Ages 5 & Under “Tot Trot”: 100 yard dash



Prize Money: Equal for men and women. 

    Open – 1st: $300; 2nd: $200; 3rd: $100;

    Masters (40+) – 1st: $75

 

No duplication of prize money!!!

Awards: Ceremony will take place in front of the courthouse at the conclusion of the last race. Age group awards (see below for divisions). Ribbons to all walkers and children. Numerous random awards from area merchants will be given out.

Registration & Packet pickup: Sign up early or on race day at Runners’ Retreat, 135 N. Loudoun St. (north of the finish line). You can register during normal store business hours beginning May 18th OR from 7:00 – 8:15 am on race morning. Choice of Tank top or Tee Shirt (while supplies last). Entry Fees (SVR members can take $1 off, except on race day):

Runners    $15 through 5/30; $20 on race day.

Walkers     $10 through 5/30; $15 on race day.

Kids        $15 through 5/30; $20 on race day.

Tot Trot    $10 through 5/30; $15 on race day.
